Our beloved COCOSTONE is back, with all new animal mugs - and more!
COCOSTONE is a Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture-based ceramist. Instead of using an electronic wheel, they handmake each product one after another, compounding the glaze themselves.
With focus on the warmth and steady quality of ceramics, the color change of glaze, and the wish “to make every customer feel the simplicity and tenderness of pottery”, COCOSTONE brings these philosophies into their everyday work and delivers through their products.

This time, we restocked last year's most popular mugs - Polar Bear, French Bulldog, and Toy Poodle. We also have several new animal friends!
1）Shih Tzu & Basset Hound
Dog lovers, pay attention - in addition to the French Bulldog and Toy Poodle, we're also showcasing the Shih Tzu and Basset Hound mugs! Beautifully handcrafted, they're like a children's storybook come to life.
2）Cockatiel & Eagle
The cute Cockatiel and the handsome Eagle are also joining us! When using these mugs, it's almost like you're flying right alongside them.
3）White Cat & Tuxedo Cat
Cat lovers, don't miss out! In addition to last year's Calico Cat and Siamese Cat, this year we added two new coat colors. This mug is the perfect gift for the cat mom or dad in your life. As soon as they see it, they'll be amazed by the lifelike imagery!
4）Hippo & Cow
A brand new series this year, the Hippo and Cow look a bit playful. When you see these animals on your mug, you'll instantly feel refreshed!
5）Brown Bear
On top of last year's super popular Polar Bear, this year we've added the Brown Bear. Bear lovers, don't miss out!
In addition to the animal mugs, we've also added the Maru Mug!
A round cup with a thick and rounded handle, you'll never want to let go once you pick up this delightful mug! Aside from holding beverages, it's also perfect as a planter on your dining table or office desk - especially for a small cactus!
Finally, we've got this year's brand new series - the cat vase series.
Featuring a super cute expression, the cats' hats can be removed to become a normal vase. But if you prefer to use them as a decoration, just put the hat back on, and you're ready to go!
COCOSTONE's founders, Mr. and Mrs. Ishiyama, work tirelessly every year to make lots and lots of orders. They usually stop taking orders before the halfway point in the year, to ensure they have enough time to finish everything! We at Norm are honored to work with them again this year. Each order is hand-pinched and hand-glazed to make a perfect, special, and completely unique item. And every work has their makers' blessing as it goes out into the world.
