Mini Brass Fork / 2022 version

About This Product

The new Hime fork builds on top of last year’s design. The artisan studied and fixed the approach many times, eventually redesigning the height from 9.5cm to 11cm. This makes the fork easier to use, for example when eating cake.

Hime fork is part of a long history of small item craftsmanship in Japan. It’s a classic type of Japanese cutlery. In Japanese, “hime (姫)”(pronounced Hee-mei) means princess. “Hime” forks are used for small bites, such as fruits and Wagashi (Japanese traditional desserts); of course, they're also fit for olives and small cakes.

One of the characteristics of bronze is that its color will darken and show a different style the longer you use it; just wash it in the same way as washing any other tableware.

  • Size(mm):H110 × W10

“The longer you use the product, the more marks time will leave on it, which makes it mature and also shows its natural beauty more,” he said. Shota Kumiji selects natural material for manufacture, and you will find the product more appealing and attractive the longer you use it.
